In the past 3 years the team has evolved into a dynamic "tour de force" of design energy that relies on a mutual love of art, travel, and culture.

J.R. is also involved with the NKBA Aloha Chapter serving as the Chapter Representative, VP- Technology/Communications, and the VP-Programs in past years. As the Chairperson for both the NKBA Hawaii Kitchen and Bath Design Awards Competition and Gala and the NKBA Great Kitchen and Bath Tour, J.R. appreciates the opportunity to advance the kitchen and bath design community and recognize their efforts.

NKBA Member"My design aesthetic stems from my love of installation sculpture. Long before I was even thinking about kitchen design, my work in sculpture always reflected a respect for space and the collective interior energy you could harness by working and manipulating objects within it. I am also obsessed with new materials, and I get so excited every time I can use something in a design that we've never used before. My own style echoes my love for all things Mid-Century Modern, as well as combining visual textures and tactile elements to bring out an eclectic and energetic attitude in the design. "
